Muddy Outdoors Outfitter Lite Hang-On Stand
PRICE, WEIGHT,SIZE ADJUSTMENTS ALL SPOT-ON!
I have over a dozen stands, many are Muddy. I caught this on sale and went by what I knew from the other ones I own. The weight is fine. Although you will have to spend extra on a pack strap.. ONLY KNOCK! It dose not come with a pack strap! But another $8 for a Muddy strap isn't a deal breaker. The single post stands are the ones I like best. When hanging them I can hold it easily with one hand to the tree while using the other to get straps around and hooked. Their are higher priced stands out there with easier to adjust platform screws, as another pointed out in they`re review, they stated you will need to pack a wrench to adjust the platform screw and also stated, good luck with that in the dark. Well for one, if you pick out the tree you want to hunt from in the dark, you probably shouldn't be hunting from a stand! Sure I get what he is after, but it shouldn't be an issue At All.. You will be choosing your tree in daylight, I`m pretty sure, and if you don't have your stand at the time, you`ll still have a Great idea on the tilt of the tree and where the screw needs to be set before you head to the woods. There are 3 holes to chose from so getting a level platform wont be hard, I`m Sure.. The seat screw is Very Easy and Simple to adjust, even in the dark. It seats to the tree very well, nice and snug which makes it very quiet, no matter what type tree or bark. The seat its self is nice and comfy and fits me just fine from platform to seat. I really couldn't ask for more and I`m sure I`ll get many years of use from this stand and you should as well. I was a bit surprised that it hit every mark I look for in a stand, except the pack strap.. I`ve owned it since September the 12th, I hung it for the 1st time the 1st weekend in Oct. After using it on 2 different trees, more than a dozen times, I really like it and will always recommend it!

Simple and Sturdy
The price tag is easily the best factor of this stand but once you assemble it and get it in the tree it is solid as a rock. Some people won't like the small platform but if you're looking for a stand that won't catch any eyes from game or other hunters and i comfortable enough to stay in for extended periods, this is the stand. I have bought several after being so impressed with the first one. Quality product, American made, and reasonable price!

I have a bunch of stands that I leave up all season. I bought this stand to be the one I pack in and out when I am going to new spots or hunting on public land and don't want to leave my stand. It is small and light, making it easy to get in and out of the woods. Yet, it is adjustable, very comfortable, and solid on the tree. I love the boomerang cleat because I can sit straight in a leaning tree. The nylon washers keep it quiet. My Muddy Climbing sticks pack on the back of the stand and I carry them both in using backpack shoulder straps. It would be nice if the platform leveling feature did not require a wrench, but I will probably never use that feature anyway. None of my other stands even have it, so I am not going to knock Muddy for it at all. I like everything about this stand, especially the seat leveling feature.
