At 20" long and 2.5 lbs. each, the Muddy Outdoors Climbing Sticks consists of four sticks that fit together quickly and quietly, making them the ultimate solution for mobile hunters. Steps on both sides allow for a quick, easy climb aided by a pro-grade rope system rated at 3,000 lbs. All noisy buckles and straps have been eliminated for silent use.

These steps are awesome. They are a little pricey but they are light and very easy to use. I purchased the four pack plus one extra. If you position them correctly on the tree you can easily get up over 25 feet. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for light steps willing to pay for quality. You definitely get what you pay for.

These climbing sticks are fantastic! They are lightweight and pack well. The sticks are extremely easty to install and very secure. Buy these sticks, you won't regret it.

I bought these for the portability and to access a stand on public land that I didn't want others to be able to hunt. Or as in the past, steal. The steps have proved to be easy to use and they are indeed very portable. The four steps allow me to get about 15 feet up. It would be nice if they came with five steps rather than four, but that is really the only thing keeping me from giving them a five star rating.

these are the easiest, quietest, and overall best climbing stick on the market. The ropecam design is genius. Super lightweight and pair em up with a pro hunter stand and your whole setup only weighs 20.5# I can do my whole setup in 10mins in the dark with minimal noise. If you are looking for something for public land or semi permanent sets for your private land you cannot beat the muddy sticks especially when a hike in is involved.

I can get up right about 15 feet.

The variance of the answers people have submitted is ridiculous. One guy said 20' - heck no, unless you're 12 feet tall.4 Muddy Climbing sticks will get you 13 feet high and that's it, I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.
The real problem is if you can 13 feet high, your stand base is around 10 feet . . . not nearly high enough. One of the reviewers said these are perfect for public land, and that they were the best on the market. It's highly unlikely he's used all the sticks on the market, but these are not the best. The quick attach is a trade off with the ability to get high up in a tree, and the price. For the money these sticks just don't cut it.

I can usually get the top of the highest step to a height of 13.5-14 feet. I hunt a lot of black jack ridges and the trees are not huge so this height is plenty.A:Â
