Purchased this heater after using the regular buddy heaters for the last several years and I can say that the advancements are incredible. From the electric ignition to the ability to carry two of the small tanks inside the heater vs. my back pack.
Only draw back I noticed is due to the larger size of the element this heater went through the propane very quickly. Out of a 12 hour day you could get 4-5 hours running on low/pilot before needing a change.

This is the first heater I purchase, and I went through two small bottles of propane the first night, this was very cold weather and a two room tent , at this rate I would be out of propane before this hunting trip was over... Figured out before going to bed or getting up, turn heater on ten or fifteen minutes before.... This worked great.. Or just get a five gallon tank with a hose, if have to used it all night...
