Rated 1 out of 5 by BPSS342 OUCH! I bought these hoping for the best - unfortunately they are the most uncomfortable sandle I've ever worn. The sole material is hard and the arch is placed too far forward causing pain in short time of walking. I had to return them. Also - at the time I made my purchase there was a promotion for free shipping with purchase of any clothing item (bought some shorts too). At check-out the on-line store indicated "0" shipping but I was actually billed $11.50 !! I called BPS to get the shipping credit back - we'll see if it shows up on my card statement. June 5, 2012

A:It's not suitable for any walking!
Sole is hard and arch is too far forward.
Uncomforatble and hurt my feet.
I returned them.
A:I would not recommend it for this use. Loose fit.
A:I haven't tried that but use on land is very
secure and sole appears to have enough
grip, at least for me.
A:The sole is pretty grippy. The problem in a stream would be the metal screens that are incorporated into the sole to drain water. They would soon be broken after stepping on the uneven bottom.
A:Yes, depending moss build up. Its great for creek beds with smaller rocks.
A:It probably would be, haven't tried ti fishing yet.
A:Prob not. Needs to be siped boat shoe...
