After fishing and guiding for many years with a heavy fully loaded vest and trying to remember where this is or that was, I have fine tuned my tackle needs for moving and still water. I fish and guide on rivers with an Angling specific lumbar pack and this lanyard. All of the necessary terminal tackle I need is at my finger tips. For lakes, I throw my boxes into my float tube storage and my lanyard around my neck and I'm set. The Alligator clip fastens to your shirt or wading jacket and keeps the Lanyard close against your chest and out of the way of your cast. An absolute essential piece of equipment.
