I purchased this last week and enjoyed this unique desert snack on the trail. This is an extremely light comfort food item. Yes, it does taste like Ice-cream! OK it isn't going to give you "brain freeze" because it isn't cold at all. This is, however, pretty cleaver. It is freeze dried Ice-cream. It is feather light, but as soon as you put it in your mouth the taste of sweet soft Ice-Cream is wonderful. It is even more pronounced when you are enjoying it in the wild miles away from a freezer! I recommend this for a try. I'm buying two next time!
