This feeder motor is the best and simplest that I have ever used. Installation was a breeze and setting the timers could not have been simpler. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality and varmint proof feeder motor.

I replaced 3 American Hunter analogs with 3 Moutrie Pro Hunters and have not looked back. In fact, I replaced each of the American Hunters once each for a total of 6! There is no comparison. The Moultrie timers are easy to set up and easy to read. I have had great service from them and will not buy another American Hunter product. Buy a Moultrie and save yourself some aggravation!

Moultrie continues to make bullet proof products that work as intended for a very reasonable price. I have one of their cameras too...Great company and the same for Bass Pro. None better.

This is purely an estimate, but I have had my feeder for 1.5 years. I would say about 10 to 15 pounds per minute.A:Â
90-100 Lbs. will feed 6-8 weeks at (2) five second feedings per day.A:Â
You can set it up to feed from 4 to 18 seconds up to 4 times per day. 4 sec = .75 lbs, 6 sec = 1 lb, 8 sec = 1.5 lbs, 10 sec = 2lbs, 12 sec = 2.5 lbs, 14 sec = 3 lbs, 16 sec = 3.5 lbs, 18 sec = 4 lbs.A:Â
approx 1lb per 6 secondsA:Â
Its not a "per minute" thing. You only feed for seconds at a time. I feed for 15 seconds per day total, 10 seconds in the morning and 5 in the evening. I go through about 4 40 lbs bags of corn in about 3 weeks.A:Â
Moultrie gives the following approximations on the amount (in pounds) of feed thrown.Run Time - Approximate Dispensing
4 seconds - .75 lbs
6 seconds - 1 lbs
8 seconds - 1.5 lbs
10 seconds - 2 lbs
12 seconds - 2.5 lbs
14 seconds - 3 lbs
16 seconds - 3.5 lbs
18 seconds - 4 lbs

This is a feeder kit. It attaches to a container and that container can be as small as a 5 gallon buck or a 55 gallon metal drum. It is rather small in size and shipping isn't really much of an issue.Details:Â
Is this the same feeder that Moultrie has on their automatic 6 gallon pond fish feeders?Answers

No, I think the fish feeder is a directional feeder. This one is a full circle.Answers

It can be attached to any barrel. I attached it to a poly barrel that used to be a 3 way directional feeder by "Tornado". It came with 1/4" machine screws/nuts but I used screws and a drill. It took only minutes.1 of 1
