I was very disappointed in this product. Just don't buy it! I was excited to get this viewer, until I get to down loading my pictures from my camera. It takes forever to download and if you have something in the picture and it's in any corner of the screen. You can not toggle and zoom in and see what's there. It only zooms in to the center of the screen. I spent $100.00 for something that really doesn't do a whole lot of anything. Don't waste your money. Buy a hand held camera and view your photos. Moultrie needs to redesign this product and fix the problems. No toggle! Why even make this product?

Picture clarity is good but with the small screen, small details of an animal in the background foliage, very hard to pick out. It does give a good overall view to mark or save for further review via SD card on a laptop or via cable to a TV monitor.

I bought one of these to read my cards right down in the woods. It works great to go thru my four cameras and get a quick look at what is going on. Major problem though, if you are using Cuddeback cameras as I am. You have to take the chips home and re format them on your computer every time you stick them in the reader. Therefore you are not saving any time or effort. I called cuddeback with my suspicions after all 4 of my cuddebacks failed to function after using the reader. I have 2 Captures and 2 Attack IR's. They confirmed that when you put the chip into the reader, it automatically formats it to the Moultrie format which is different. Prior to talking to them, I freaked and was about to throw my older Cuddebacks away, thinking they were broken. Thank God for bloggers on the internet. I tried the cameras with no chip and they worked fine as they did later when I reformated the chips. The Lady at Cuddeback said improperly formated chips can cause numerous problems with their cameras including very short battey life and indicator lights that won't turn off. I am going back to chip swapping as I have done for years.

What is the viewing battary life out in the fieldAnswers
A:Â
The battery life seemed to be fine. Just be prepared and remember that the on and off switch is on the front of the viewer and you'll probably forget to turn it off. You will return to the field to view your pictures on your camera and have a dead view finder. Don't buy this product. You will be greatly disappointed with it.A:Â

If it Uses an SD or SDHC card it should work. Or you can do what I did and just steal your girlfriends Camera which also uses the same SD card format, you can browse through and delete your photos at will. Not a huge screen but it is dual purpose for when you get your deer on the ground. Only problem is explaining to your Girlfriend/Wife why her $150 camera has blood and deer on it... Hope this helps!A:Â
if it reads sd cards it should work. I use a digital camera to look at my pics and that works just fineAnswers

It's about 3" x 4" and the screen is a little smaller. Good quality pictures and videos however. It's nice because you can review out in the field and delete/save whatever you want.Top 250 Contributor
