The 1st "brand new" one I bought leaked at the bottom seam the 1st time I put water in it. It also leaked at the drain nozzle which does not thread properly. Advertised 10' pattern was actually only 8' at best. Thinking this was a fluke flaw, I returned it to Bass Pro where the kindly replaced it as I requested. The 2nd "brand new" one also leaked at the drain nozzle where it simply will not thread on properly. Again, advertised 10' pattern is only 8' wide. There is a slight gap where pump piping goes into top of tank so when tank is full, weed killer mixture was splashing out the penetration onto my back. Determined to get my food plots sprayed, I tried it anyways. If you don't mind brand new equipment leaking or weed killer being splashed on your back, it actually sprays a fairly even (8' pattern, not 10')

I purchased this sprayer last month and have used it several times and would like to share in hopes of helping you decide. I went back and forth on it, but am overall happy with my purchase. The most impressive feature on this is the boomless sprayer, it works great! I’ve use it to spray the deer plots, week killer on the driveway, weed n feed on grass, it's great and saves a ton of time. The only two things this is lacking from making it a 5/5 is the plastic threads are very sensitive, be careful when threading the pieces together. I cross threaded or over tightened everything. The last is the hand wand; it does not have a wide coverage area, looks pretty much 3 or 4 little streams so it's hit or miss, plus I think they should have used a 2.0 GPM pump instead of 1.8. Overall, I would buy again; with a little money I can upgrade the cons.

I have a 550 yahama it goes past both back tires about a foot so its close does work well

No, it does 8' reliably, now the wand is a different story, it will cast a 10" cone about 30'A:Â
I would guess this sprayer to put out a 6'-8' wide path behind it. The boomless sprayer works great, and covers good and even. I wouldn't waste me money buying a boom, this does it all, althought the hand wand is subpar.1 of 1
