The waterproof TalkAbout MS350R Two-Way Floating Radios by Motorola are the perfect way for paddlers, anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy a reliable means of communication in wet conditions. Not only are the MS350R Two-Way Radios waterproof to IP-67 standards (submersible for 30 minutes), but they float and have yellow faceplates which makes them easy to locate when dropped in the water. Offering a powerful range of up to 35 miles, the TalkAbout MS350R features 22 channels plus eight repeater channels, each with 121 privacy codes for 2,662 channel combinations. With 11 weather channels including seven NOAA weather channels, the MS350R alerts you to incoming weather and dangerous conditions. Thanks to iVOX feature, you can communicate hands-free without an audio accessory which lets you keep moving without having to stop to answer a call. The TalkAbout MS350R Two-Way Radios also boast a built-in LED flashlight, PTT Power Boost, VibraCall® vibrating alert, QT™ (Quite Talk) interruption filter, backlit display and audible low battery alert. Dual power options: 27 hour alkaline or 9 hour NiMH estimated talk time. Includes two radios, dual drop-in charger, charging adapter and two NiMH battery packs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by countryperson poor motorola rechargeable batteries The performance of the radio is great ; however, the fact that the rechargeable battery doesn't hold its charge after time is so poor. The fact that you have to buy the charger and batteries with the radio is a rip. I have spoken to motorola and they don't stand behind their battery.. The representatives I dealt with told me not to expect more that 4 hours of use on a recharged battery. So if your planning a full day of use take disposable batteries with you. Hopefully no one is really in need of communication for emergency with the standard issue motorola rechargeable batteries, they may not be able to call for help in an emergency. July 11, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 good....sofar sofar so good...these radios work well ijn the neighborhood and on my home lake of 2,300 acres....the real test will be in the Canadian wilderness in June...will write detailed review then. May 25, 2012

She takes them with her when family goes to the mall shopping, ship to shore when fishing etc. Specifically wanted waterproof feature. They are tough and perform great. January 23, 2012
