Rated 1 out of 5 by Does Not fit normal 3.5mm radio The mic does not fit any fire, police, ems, or half of the "22 channel walkie talkies" The 2-way radio that it does fit makes the radio it constantly transmit and must remove the mic completely to stop transmitting. I believe the size is 2.5mm all of my radios take the 3.5mm. ....... But if you can find a radio it would work in it does have a good feel to it. Appears to be well manufactured. January 18, 2011

Details: 
Some speaker mics come with a port to plug in an ear bud so the speaker is heard through the ear bud, wanted to know if this has that option.

No, it does not have the option to add a ear bud. You clip onto your collar to be able to hear hands free.
