MotorGuide's® Safari 2-Blade Weedless Prop is the perfect trolling motor prop. Designed to deliver both an extremely weed-free performance and exceptional open-water power, the Safari Weedless is built on a tapered-hub design that leaves no gap between prop and housing. The combination keeps weeds moving toward the business end of the lower unit where the blades provide cutting function and thrust to throw them clear. The Safari 2-Blade Weedless Prop fits all 3.5'' diameter trolling motors, from models with 35 pounds of thrust all the way up to the most powerful 36-volt motors found on high-performance bass boats.
Runs virtually weed-free and is incredibly durable in light-cover situations
2-blade weedless prop design improves power, thrust and efficiency
Great prop for anglers who fish the nastiest cover
This prop is totally worthless in the weeds. I would have given it 0 stars but that wasn't an option.I bought it just before going on a week fishing trip.
I spent more time clearing the weeds off it than I did fishing with it. When there was no weeds it was fine but I bought it to go into weedy areas. The weeds weren't even all that thick, I've used the competitors weedless prop and never had a problem. I'm selling my trolling motor so I can get one that I can fish with in weeds.

I found the prop that I bought no better than the ninja I already had. The weeds still piled up around the prop and even wrapped around the base of the prop itself.

I had used a Minn-Kota trolling motor for a very long time with a prop similar to this one. When I bought a new boat it came with a Motor guide trolling motor with a small two blade prop. Even thought he boat was lighter than my previous one it was difficult to fish any type of weed cover because the prop would load up with weeds . I looked for several years for a similar prop for a Motor guide motor and finally found one. It seems to start smoother, no big yank on the mounting and cuts through the weeds very well. Heavy weeds will still load up after a while but far less and easier to get off. I fish alot with my brother-in-law who also bought a Bass Tracker boat only bigger than mine. He experienced the same issue so I loaned him my prop last year and he was amazed at the difference. Actually the one I just purchased was to replace the one I let him try out, he fishes more often than I do and I let him keep it.

Works good but a little high.
We have used this prop for about 2 months now and it seems to be quiter than the factory 3 blade that came on our trolling motor. It does pull the boat better and dont get weeds in it like the factory prop did overall we like it its just a little to high for the price.
