I have used this blade now for nearly 4 years. I have never had to retighten (I check before every tournament) the prop. I sharpen it a little here and there (not too sharp or you will cut yourself) and it slices straight through peppergrass, hydrilla and most other grass. No prop is completely weedless, so don't expect it. But this prop does better than I have ever seen on my 82lb Motorguide.

I have a pair of 36V lenco drives powering a homemade 20' aluminum catamaran. After switching out stock plastic props to the almost identical aluminum props I have noticed less vibration, better control and a little more speed. I probably would not have made the upgrade but lost one of my plastic props as a result of oe.

If your hub is a 3 and one half inch diameter, (3 1/2" ) then it will fit.The thrust doesn't matter, only the hub size. If it's not 3 1/2" then it will be a 3" and this prop will not fit a 3" hub, only a 3 1/2" hub {...size matters :-}

I have a prop with 2 blades. Is this prop going to make me go faster and is it going to use the batteries faster?

I changed to this prop 4 years ago and did not notice much of a speed increase, however it goes through weeds MUCH better than the 2 blade. If it does use the batteries faster, I couldn't notice it, so not by much if any.A:Â
The 3 blade Machete blade is designed to "cut" through weeds, similar to a real Machete blade. This will use up more battery power than the 2 blade Ninja prop. So, if you plan on being in a lot of weeds, get the 2 blade Ninja.Yes, it will make you go faster.
