Very good purchase
It worked right out of package. Very responsive and I like to use it in conjunction with the foot control. COOL GADGET.

This RC gives you the freedom to control your trolling motor from anywhere in your boat, particularly useful when fighting a lunker and, more even so, when fishing solo. Even though it didn't come with instructions, Motorguide has an instruction sheet posted in their Website (basically, plug the motor in, press + and - on the RC within 10 seconds and and a long beep confirms that you're up and running!)

There's a mount/strap(?) that will let you secure the remote to any fishing rod you use in seconds and let you operate it with the hand holding the rod, directly above the reel....makes sense, now I can't find it, anyone??? Thanks
