I received this as a gift, and couldn't be happier with it. It works from anywhere on the boat and the response is immediate. Very convienient and user friendly. Easy to program!

got this so the guy in the back of the boat could control the boat if the guy in the front was busy.i think its easier to use than the foot pedal but if the guy in the front of the boat is a big guy, then the remote signal is blocked and doesnt register.good intentions on the remote.but this may be a hindrance.little bit pricey as well.

Very easily programed gives me the freedom to go anywhere on the boat and still control the trolling motor.

There's a mount/strap(?) that will let you secure the remote to any fishing rod you use in seconds and let you operate it with the hand holding the rod, directly above the reel....makes sense, now I can't find it, anyone???Thanks
