I have planted this product for a couple of years now, particularly in new clearings after logging or burning. The South's quail population has been devastated for a number of reasons, but almost every time I go to field now I can hear that familiar whistle, and it warms my soul. We may never see the populations of the past, but we can do a few simple things like this to help. Doing nothing has it's own result.
