Put in a new food plot in '08 and planted a strip about 16 ft. by 200 ft. long with 2 bags of M/O Brassica. I did not have time to condition the soil properly, could not afford much fertilizer due to the price last year but I did put down plenty of lime. The seed shot up like fire after the first good rain and grew steadily, then after the second frost, the deer tore it out of the ground! I plan to double the amount of ground planted in brassica from last year this fall hunting season, it worked very well in poor red clay soil with a little woods dirt left after the land clearing. The seed is very small, need to use a hand spreader.

Anyone think this would work well in a plot with clover/chicory/turnip and it wouldnt let me say "r a p e"
