Great gun I just bought this shotgun specifically for saltwater diver duck hunting. Where and how I duck hunt really puts a lot of abuse on a shotgun and I needed something that would always be reliable and consistent. Out of the box the gun patterned great with 3 inch shells. I then ran some 2.5s through it just to see how it would perform. It cycled all of them with no problems. The very next day I went duck hunting and limited out. So far, this gun has performed flawlessly and I highly recommend it. December 1, 2014
Great gun, great value I purchased my 935 in 2008. It gave me some headaches during the breaking in process(50-75 rounds), but its been great ever since. My gun feeds all 2 3/4" shells as well, including light target loads, which is a bonus. The only shells that give me issues are 3 1/2" Remington Hypersonics. The hulls of the Hypersonics are about 1/8"- 1/4" longer once fired then other 3 1/2" brands such as Winchester, Federal and Kent. That little extra length in the spent hull is just enough to cause hang up upon ejection. I also recommend using Breakfree CLP oil on the 935 as it seems to like this oil over other brands, especially in colder weather. In my opinion, there isnt a better semi auto turkey gun then the Mossberg 935. The shot patterns produced by the overbored barrel are best I've seen in any price range. Great gun overall, and great value. May 14, 2014
