I bought a Mossberg 935 mag 5yrs ago and have used it for waterfowl and turkeys and NEVER had a problem. It will handle 2 3/4 high brass, 3" and 3 1/2' with no problem what- so- ever!! I would recommend this semi to anyone. Heck, for the money you can't go wrong.

the biggest pile of scrap metal. very unreliable, 3 1/2 will cycle fine but try to go back to 3 inch n jams. every shell paterns different and u cant say its the shooter ive had 4 different guys patern this fine piece of work and all the same results, 1 shot will be high n to the right the next low to the left n so on . theres no killing power with this gun either. i use remington hypers, black cloud and blind sides all leaving more wounded ducks then dead ducks, went back to my 870 and no problems dead ducks all around. will never buy mossberg again but if ur looking for 1 i will sell u this fine piece of work cheap.

i bought a brand new mossberg 935 from bass pro and used it for duck hunting. the first did not fire so i had to recock and it fired. afterward the next 9 rounds stovepipe on me. i had to manually clear each round!! when i got home , i boxed it up and sent it back to mossberg for repairs. as of today i have yet yo hear from them. a brand new shotgun!! and now no gun for duck hunting . my other choice was remington 1135 and i chosed mossberg. big, big mistake. do not, do not do not do not buy a mossberg!!!! it is a $700.00 piece of scape metal junk. do not ,do not buy mossberg.

I have 2 other waterfowl guns; both at least twice as much as this gun. Always had problems with 3 1/2 inch loads no matter which brand. This gun came up in conversation at 2 different DU dinners I attenended I finally went over to table of local Michigan Bass Pro Shop and asked him about this gun. I said "Mossberg" really?? I purchased a Mossberg from same guy years ago for deer with rifiled slug barrel and a scope that was more than gun itself. Love that gun! Anyway, he told me to go on my Goose hunt and if I can get that 935 to jam with 3 1/2's; bring it back and we'll get you into something else. I came back limited out both days and brused a little. I'm not a great shot but the whole group could not belive this gun out performed guns 2-3 times more in price. Only had it 1 season so far but very impressed.
