Mossberg® 835 Ulti-Mag® Waterfowl Shotgun
This was the first thing i ever purchased from Bass Pro Shops. I have owned mine since high school. The guys that say it is to heavy, need to man up. I own a dozen shot guns that are heavier than this.
This is the most versatile gun I own. I've killed ducks, geese, deer, turkey, pheasant, grouse, squirrel, rabbit and who knows what else with it.
I have literally flipped my canoe with my 835 getting not only dunked but the barrel filled with mud. I ran a bore snake through it and killed ducks and geese the same day. It is by far the most durable shot gun I have.
I can almost out shoot my brother in law who shoots a much more expensive semi auto.
I highly recommend it!!

I shoot 3.5's for turkey, it doesn't want to spit the shell out when i pump it and also a little on the heavy side and the grip is to big to put my hand around.

I bought this gun a couple years back and have never had a problem. If i was the maker of this gun i would have probably used some lighter materials but besides that its a great gun. The main reason it is heavier than most guns is because of its recoil. The gun has a phenomenal amount of recoil. I would recommend this gun to anyone who wants a great quality gun but doesn't have deep enough pockets for something like a benelli shotgun. I shot this gun at about age six and it wasn't too bad but i was born a country boy and know how to handle it. I would really recommend this gun.

Good turkey gun
I bought this gun with a 20 inch barrel in realtree AP Green. THe sights that came on it were junk which is why I gave it a 4 star review. Once I changed out the sights it was decent. This gun replaced a M887 which was a real peice of junk. So far I am happy with this gun. the 20 inch barrel does have some kick but is worth it when moving throught he woods and taking a shot on birds.
