Great Shotgun at Great Price
I bought the field turkey combo about 2 years ago. I combined this purchase with the Indian Creek Diamond Strike choke tube. Holds a super tight pattern. The sights are highly visible and adjustable to the pattern of your shell of choice. I use #6 Kent turkey loads. Holds great pattern at 40 yards.

Good deal!
I purchased this gun in march looks great and patterned pretty good with 5 different loads it was hard to discern which to go with. it does kick a little hard with the 3" and 3-1/2" loads but I picked up a universal barrel and ran a couple hundred rounds of trap with 2-3/4" and really didn't notice much of a difference in kick between this and my other shotguns. I also have never shot anything greater than 2-3/4" prior to this so that could be a contributing factor.
I did have a similar problem with the turkey sighting in as others have mentioned (shooting high, and right in my case) I happened to notice the sight had a slight bend in it, called up mossberg they sent me out new sights no questions asked I slapped it on and took it out. it was still a tad high but with one quick elevation adjustment it was right on target. I wasn't happy with having to replace the sight as it shouldn't have been bent but mossberg was good to me and it also gave me an excuse to go shooting again which I wasn't complaining about :)

Kicks hard but dropsem hard
Recently purchased new 535 and found remington turkey loads are 6 + inches high @ 30 yards. swapped with winchester turkey loads, now the complete target is covered with holes. Kicks hard but dropsem hard. With gun sling i can hardly fill it on my back. Great camo pattern, and easy to carry around after a long day in woods. Short barrel makes it easy to navigate through woods.

Similar problems
I had a similar problem that Brotherhood's review described. The gun was patterning about a foot high at 30 yards. Fortunately, I saw Brotherhood's review and took a copy to talk to the manager at my local store in Sevierville, TN. He agreed to return the Mossberg 535 and I subsequently purchased a Remington 870 which patterned nicely. Thank you Bass Pro and my local store manager. I am now a very happy customer again.
