The Mossberg 535 ATS Shotgun was spawned by the successes of the 3" chambered 500 and the 3-1/2" chambered 835. This high performance pump action takes 2-3/4", 3" and 3-1/2" shotgun shells to handle any of your shotgun hunting opportunities without compromise. The sleek profile of the 535 ATS barrel coupled with a shortened magazine tube provides comfortable balance and swing. Comes with accu-set of chokes, 4 + 1 capacity, front fiber optics, and synthetic stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by universal soldier I bought the 535 slugster and an extra smooth bore barrel both cantilevered. I put a carson coyote choke and a Nikon Monarch turkey pro scope. this is a super sweet set up to 50, yes 50 yards. now the rifled barrel has a Nikon scope as well but in a variable. using Remington copper sabots I put three in the red at 100 yards. big smile. Note: all in 3" shells. It is my pride and joy in field shotgun. I have some other shotguns but this is my "go to". confidence, confidence, confidence. November 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value shotgun I have the 535 in the turkey field combo. This gun holds a great pattern. I have an Indian Creek Turkey Choke tube that performs great with this gun. January 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mossberg 535, 12 gauge pump shotgun I got this gun for Christmas and so far i put 2 boxes of shells threw it and i love it! I got the waterfowl camo and it looks great. It also has a red dot at the end of the gun which make it so much easier to shoot the clay targets. December 29, 2010

..the field M2 does not have holes pre-drilled for a scope. The slug M2 does, also has iron sights, front and rear. You can buy a slug barrel for the field M2, but it's over $500, and has iron sights, not sure about scope mounting to that barrel?

If you're asking about the receiver being drilled and tapped for a scope, yes it does. If you're asking if the barrel has holes drilled in it (aka ported), no it doesn't.
