Great buy works good. Makes the trigger finger a little happier.

I ordered 2 of these mags a few weeks ago, been out shooting 3 times with them haven't had any issues. Yes they're a little tough to load when brand new but everything has broken in and loosened up now to the point that I can load all 25 rounds with out using the provided easy loader. The mags fit the gun fine and feed everytime, can't ask for much more than that. I think the reason so many people have problems with these is because they aren't patient enough to work with them and break them in.

I have 4 of these magazines, 2 of them are from Bass Pro. Before they are ever filled, I disassemble them, use steel wool and oil on all surfaces where the follower slides. I also slightly round and shape the corners and edges of the follower so it has nothing to catch or hang on when transitioning from the metal to the plastic. Everything is cleaned, lightly oiled and then reassembled. Works perfectly every time. Bass Pro's price for this magazine went up $5 between December 2013 and Jan 2014 from $29.99 to $34.99.

This product is garbage. I purchased 2 magazines. Neither works well. One is almost non-functional. Neither would take anymore than 10 rounds. They just froze. The magazine just would not compress further to accept more rounds. I had to pull the follower down by the spring to get the other 15 rounds in. The follower was not attached to the spring. They are manufactured that way. One of them has a follower that will on release all the way to load the last round. It just hangs. I can push it up, but I'd like the round in the rifle. The other magazine seems to work OK, but both are still a pain to load. I would recommend to never put more than 20 rounds in these magazines. Both have load issues. I can not fill either, and rack the shells till the magazine is empty without a jam.
