Morrell Yellow Jacket Crossbow Broadhead Target
not what was expected
I purchased a new parker cyclone crossbow that shots 350fps and this target does not stop the bolts until they are half way up the vane of the bolt causing the vane to be wavy afterwards. As far as removal it is one of the worst I have ever seen very difficult to remove. I am planning on returning it this week to store for some other target that hopefully will work.

Cannot Recomend At All
Purchased this product to use with my Excallibur Crossbow. To make a long story short it is advertised for use with a crossbow but it cannot handle the speed and power of crossbow bolts. Everyone of my bolts burried themselves half way up the fletching. One bolt went through the target and stuck out about eight inches on the other side. I am giving this target to a friend after only 18 shots. He shoots a compound bow. Perhaps he will have better luck. I purchased a Block target rated for crossbows and it was well worth the money. It works as advertised.

I have shot at a lot of targets that were maid for crossbows, but I have always had trouble getting the bolts out. Most get chuewed up after a good work out.The Yellow Jacket has folds that let you use any tipe of tip hunting or field.I have never had a pass through with a bolt. That alone is a grate saveings.I have left it out in the rain for day at a time and when the sun drys it out it still handles the job. The Morrell Yellow Jacket crossbow target is worth the money, and will last more than one season. I have told all my huntin budies about it.

better than I expected
My wife ordered me this target for christmas 2011 by accident, wrong morrel brotookadhead target. I thought I was going to be disappointed from some of the reviews I read, but when it got here I was pleased with it. I have had only one issue with a bolt getting stuck, but after i took the target inside and warmed it up a little it came right out. It seems to do good with field tips and broad heads, the broad heads will shorten the life of the target when consistantly shooting the same area, but what do you expect. all in all I think this is a good product.
