Mechanically vented fuel cap ensures easy gripping with exclusive ribbed design that floats. 90º, 1/4 NPT fuel withdrawal elbow rotates 360º eliminating a kinked fuel line hose. Mechanical direct-sight gauge features an easy-to-read indicator. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene with UV-stabilized resin, this tank is tested to industry standards.

I purchased two of these. Both of the fill caps broke off at the neck. A third 6 gallon Moeller tank-same thing. I am searching to find another manufacturer. I am not a very strong girl so how this keeps happening I don't know.

good product the one bass pro carries is a smaller overall and fits perfect in my crestliner center console

We have this new tank on our old 1976 Centennial Ranger boat. Fits perfectly in a vented back compartment. We are wondering if anyone else was unsure of that extra vent hole and when/if to open it.I wish they would make some separate compartments in these plastic tanks to minimize the sloshing effect like they do in the metal tanks.

You need to open it when in use to allow gas flow and close it when not in use to prevent moisture from settling in the gas.Answers
