I use these hooks for ribbon tail worms. The hooks get your bait down in the weeds where the fish are. I've had good success with them and now use them more than other hooks.

This particular hook is the best thing I've found to use with the Berkley Gulp Shrimp. The Gulp shrimp is one of favorite artificial baits for chasing speckled trout on the flats. I get more bites when the shrimp is rigged with the weighted hook, and these hooks (with the spear rather than a screw for locking the bait in place) let me get me use out of each shrimp.
