Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth my money I have had this knife more years than I can remember , and it is still slaying fish. Fish under this knife give up the fillets in just seconds . I have three blades of different links (just incase I catch a big one) they are all still sharp and reliable. June 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by do not buy I fish in Arizona for bass not uncommon to clean 10 or more bass at one time. First time I used this knife had trouble getting it to cut so I had the new blade sharpened by a professional to see if that would help it didn't. While trying to clean fish motor stops offten seems to run warmer than it should! Can't use it at all! Did I get a bad product? May 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by new twister electric knife fileted 60 crappies with no problems. only drawback is the coiled cord. my last knife, american angler, motor burned out with 60 crappies after a years use. so far, so good. May 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good knife I have used these knives for at least 20 years and they are good and hold up well. I clean several hundred fish per year and in the years I have used this knife I have only had to buy 2. One finally burned up after 9 seasons and I replaced it wi the same knife. I do have to buy blades every 5 years or so. April 22, 2013

A:
No, they don't need sharpened. I cleaned well over 5,000 fish on one, and probably closer to 10,000. The rivets on the blade were worn and I did not know they offered replacement blades or I would have puchased one. Simply order a replacement blade after 5,000 fish. Your rivets will proably be worn any way.

Buy it you will love it and save yourself a ton of time cleaning fish!
