Great lure needs better sharper/ stronger hooks on it, ive lost several fish because the hooks just don't go threw the fishes mouth, and i use braid, or they just bend, i switched up the hooks and works perfect.Great lure works great for freshwater too whether it be peacock bass or largemouth!

I purchased a red head/ white body top dog jr. about a month ago and have been using it in Murrells Inlet, SC. I have had great luck with that lure, the fish fight over it. I caught 4 Redfish in the 10 pound range the first few trips I used it on. However, last week I hooked a whopper Redfish and after 10 minutes of fighting he broke free. When I reeled in I saw that the hook had straightened. That was very disappointing to me because I was guessing he could have been 20lbs. I use 12lb test and I just can't understand why the hook would straighten before the line would break. I rated this lure 4 stars because of this. Change the hooks and it's definitely a 5 star lure.

For me, just doesn't perform nearly as well as Spooks, Skitter walks, and several other "walking type" lures.

These are some of the best top water lures i have ever purchased. I use them on Redfish and Trout. Easy to use and the color schemes are great for matching the bait fish in my area. If your looking for a fun lure to fish with, then this lure is for you.
