I use the Manns with good luck, but this lure blows them away! I troll the black/silver in 30' (s.w. fl) and catch tons of grouper and kingfish on them. a must have and they run true! Great buy at $10 less than half of the price of the Manns and they work better.

two ways. tie a snell not directly to the lure. or, use a light eagle claw leader. make sure the leader is short or it will get tangled up with the sureset hook.1 year, 4 months ago

I use power pro with a 3' 80lb mono leader and a loop knot tied to the nose ring of the lure. I put it out about 150' behind the boat and it will bump the bottom from time to time in 30' of water at 5mphTop 1000 Contributor
