MirrOlure® Catch 2000 Lure
Since 1937, MirrOlure baits have been tearing 'em up at every saltwater venue.
Irresistible action with a loud sonic rattle for maximum fish-calling power. Suspends when the retrieve is stopped or slowed, exhibiting "natural" baitfish behavior and staying in the strike zone longer!

Excellent plug for stripers and bluefish (even flounder) here in the South Jersey surf, especially during the Fall mullet run.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DavidC great plug for snook and tarpon
The Catch 2000 and Jr. are the best plugs when it comes to Snook and Tarpon, they will always hit this plug if they are home.

i have used this lure over the past 2 years and it will not fail to catch fish on every trip (gauranteed). i have caught snook with this lure but not in great numbers but it works. it is a trout and ladyfish killer, which in turn you can use the live ladyfish for snook or cut ladyfish for the reds. the lure i have is scarred up but is still in good shape, i would never be without one of these lures.

Great plug, during the spring in the 10,000 island. However after about 10 snook the plug starts to crack.

This is an awesome lure if the fish are shallow or if your fishing in shallow water under 6 ft. this lure stays ontop so small twitches. This bait is ment to be worked slow not to be cranked in like a crank bait. Make small twitches with your rod just a few inches, stop few sec with slow retreive then again 2-3 twitches. Best was to see if its workin cast a few feet and give it a few jerks to see if it looks like a fish swimming.. OH AND HUGE TIP..... IF YOU DONT TIE A KNOT WITH A LOOP IN IT THE LURE IS NOT GONA WORK/SWIM. I mean the knot cant be clinched down to the lure trilene knot wont work has to have a loop.1 of 1
