Just recieved the new I Pilot replacement remote. This thing is hands down better than the original one. Very easy to operate compared to almost cramping my fingers to use the original one. Would highly recommend this product if you slow troll or long line troll in fresh water like I do for mostly Crappie.

This remote is very user friendly and with two on the boat, makes it easy for another person to make heading corrections if the other is busy.

This is an awesome product and very user friendly. The reason I purchased this item was while fishing and in the heat of battle with a very nice 19 inch Spade fish, some how the back fell off my remote that came with my trolling motor and fell overboard with the battery. So, I would verify your battery cover is tight before you use it and also, it is nice to have a back-up now... Happy Fishing.
(Minn Kota did send me a replacement battery cover)

Yes. all you need to do is push the learn button on the head of the I pilot and while it is beeping push any button on the control. It is "hands down" easier to operate.

Per the Marine Department at our Springfield store you can use this remote with your older iPilot system. However, if you purchase the new remote it will not increase the number of Record-A-Tracks or Spot-Lock locations that you can store. This information is stored in the control unit that attaches to your motor so you will still only be able to store 3 Record-A-Tracks and 3 Spot-Locks.1 of 1
