Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply awesome Very easy to install and will work right away. Great product at great price. Item was also shipped extra fast. July 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed This product was just what I needed to make the connection from my new I Pilot trolling motor to my lowrance fishfinder. Once the trolling motor was in place used the old cord to pull the new one in 2 splices and I was back in bussiness. December 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by be careful These cables do not work with Humminbird fishfinders and Minn Kota motors that have US1 Sonar ....... and Minn Kota has discontinued supplying the correct adapter that will fit..... cute marketing ploy to make you buy a new motor with US2 Sonar !!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Works great Just hooked it up to my depth finder and it's working great. Will be going to Canada in a couple of weeks. July 8, 2013

How long is this?

Details:
I am needing the one to connect the Minn Kota to a Humminbird. How long is the one that is being sold here? I thought I read in the questions that it was 6 inches long and that make zero sense. 36 bucks for what boils down to an adapter you can't use.

Is there a part number and a price for the extension for this as well?

A:
The adapter that fits the fish finder is short, about 6 inchs to the us2 and about 4 feet to the battery connection. Minnkota offers an extention for the us2 if needed. It is 14 1/2 feet long and is Minnkota part # MKR-US2-11

I am sorry but the X65 is not compatible with the Universal Sonar 2 systems. It operates at 192 kHz, which does not match the 83/200 kHz transducer puck they use in their motors. Thanks
