Yes, US2 is compatible with the Humminbird PrianhaMax 170. You will need to purchase the US2 adapter cable for Humminbird which is item 38-530-288-00. I have provided a link the the adapter cable below.

Trolling motors with universal sonar have a universal transducer built in to the lower unit of the trolling motor. The transducer is compatible with most fishfinders. You will just have to purchase the appropriate adapter cable.
