Minn Kota® Terrova® Bow Mount Trolling Motors:
Master whatever Mother Nature—or a mother of a walleye—can throw at you! Minn Kota built Terrova with more power and uncompromising strength to stand up to anything you encounter. The easy-to-use handle and special fall-away ramps on the stow/deploy mechanism let you effortlessly move your motor in and out of the water.
Effortless by Design
Simply depress the handle and fall-away ramps deploy the motor into the water effortlessly. The balanced motor design makes stowing easy, and a special master cutoff switch automatically turns the power off when stowed.
Electric Steer Foot Pedal
Waterproof, low-profile foot pedal with 18' cord offers precise control with less than one degree of steering resolution.
Digital Maximizer™ Technology
Up to five times longer run time on a single charge. By controlling the draw of power at variable speeds, Digital Maximizer eliminates wasted energy, extends battery life, and gives you more time on the water!
Universal Sonar 2:
Dual-beam capability (with all Humminbird® DualBeam PLUS™ and select Lowrance® and Garmin® units) provides expanded coverage and greater bottom detail at 83 kHz and 200 kHz. Temperature-sensing compatibility with all major sonar brands. Integrated, concealed transducer is protected from the elements.
Record a Track:
Simply push the Record button and fish along your desired course. i-Pilot will store that track to memory—now up to six separate tracks. When you want to retrace a course, i-Pilot’s Playback functions will automatically guide your boat down the track.
Works like an electronic anchor. Choose up to six separate spots to remember and at the push of a button it will hold you in place. Spot-Lock Recall lets you return to that spot later.
CoPilot™ and Cruise Control:
Select and maintain a consistent speed for optimum bait presentation with cruise control, and use the legendary speed and steering functions of CoPilot™ to precisely control your boat.
Uses GPS to take you exactly to the point you select, not just the bearing you choose. It’s the difference between a compass and a GPS unit. Just point the motor in the direction you want to travel, push a button and let it take you there with GPS accuracy while compensating for wind, waves, current, and drift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JIMMMI All That's Advertised and More I recently purchased the Minn Kota Terrova US2 80. At first I bought the shorter shaft because I didn't think I would need a 5 ft shaft in front. Well after converting from 12 to 24 volt and putting an extra battery in the back it brought the back down and the bow up. Any wave action or chop and the motor would cavitate. I called Bass Pro right away and asked if I could return it for the 60 inch shaft. They said as long as it was within 30 days and I had the box no problem. So I made the 7 hour round trip back to Bass Pro to exchange the motor. It is now perfect. Just don't make the mistake I did and get the short shaft.Recently had a day off with 20mph winds and went fishing. I ended up trolling with planer boards into the wind and let the motor do the work. I could not have done it myself with my old trolling motor but it did just fine and I limited out on walleye . Even my wife was impressed at how well it worked. This is an expensive purchase but worth ever penny when set up right. This has made trolling for walleye after dark so much easier. The spot lock/anchor also works very well. Find a spot-hit the button-the boat stays there even in cross wind. I need to also compliment Bass Pro on their customer service. Great job! September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by SpiderRig A leg saver..... I do a lot of spider rig fishing and the trolling motor is always on and I have to steer, plus on and off. After a couple of hours my leg would just ache. Got my new I-Pilot Terrova and wow don't even use my foot or leg! Super features like Spot Lock, Cruise, Autopilot, Tracking, have increased my time on the water and more fish. Installation of the Minn Kota was easy. Bought a new sonar to work with integrated Minn Kota. Eliminates the extra wires and transducer. Exceeded my expectations. Would recommend to anyone especially trollers. May 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Clye Super trolling motor I got this for myself for my birthday, and all I can say is wow! This makes fishing even more enjoyable. Full of neat features and is fun to operate. It moves my 19 ft. bass boat at 2.5 mph if I need to go that fast. Remote control and auto pilot makes it easy for me to set aft and troll. Anchor feature holds you on target. I know it"s a good sum of money but I think it is money well spent. May 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by RobUpNorth Surprising It was best described by a fishing partner. We just hung out and fished while the boat took us for a ride. The unit is proving to meet all the hype from the reviews. I have used all the functions at this time and the cruse control auto pilot is simply fantastic. Pick your line and speed and do what you enjoy. (down as low as .5 mph) The remote itself allows you stop prop movement while in autopilot cruse is set. a great feature when when your trying to land a non compliant Northern. To restart, just hit the prop button on the remote and the autopilot returns to your original setting. The US2 is hooked up to a Hummingbird 561, I'm pleased with its performance you don't all the high end tech up front, your there to fish. The electronic anchor feature is another addition that has obvious applications. It works very well, like the other reviews best suited for wind and current. The remote is used more often than the foot pedal, its fun to guide the boat around from the back. May 20, 2013

A:Yes, You just need the cable adaptor to go from the universal sonar cable to a Lowrance fish finder.
A:It should work, since the transducer has the same frequency. I am not sure if there is a US2 cord for the elite 4x, but if the the US2 cord for the elite 5x fits the 4x it should work. There is no cord listed for the 4x.
Details:This is more of a statement (FYI) then a question. So be careful what fish finder you purchase if you're intensions are to hook it up to the US2.
Response from Humminbird:
"No sir, the US2 is not compatible with the 597ci HD DI model.
The universal sonar would be compatible with the dual beam models, not the down image models."
Details:have a 26' tri-toon pontoon, what thrust and shaft length do you recommend ? looking into a Minn Kota Terrova.
A:Get the 60" shaft with the 101 lbs/thrust and you cant go wrong
Details:What lenth motor do I need for a Nito 288 Sport for a bow mount?
A:60" shaft. I have Triton TR-21x and I've used both the 54" and the 60" but the 60" gives you a little more depth when the chop gets going, so the prop stays engaged with the water. There's no price diff as far as I know, and you won't be sorry you have that extra depth.
A:You will want to measure your boat when it is fully loaded with gear and people for a regular day of fishing. Measure from intended mounting location (transom or bow) to the waterline of the loaded boat. Then add 18 inches. That's the shaft length you are looking for.
Details:Before I purchased my Minn Kota® PowerDrive™ V2 Bow-Mount Trolling Motor with Pre-Installed i-Pilot™ Wireless with Universal Sonar 2 and a HumminBird 596C HD Fish finder I checked with both Minn Kota and Humminbird and these units were compatible.
I purchased the units, on boxing day from Bass Pro Shop in Calgary, Alberta and have installed the Minn Kota onto the boat. When I went to hook up the sonar cable from the Minn Kota on to the Humminbird I find it is not a direct connect ....Question: is there an adapter that I need to purchase to connect the 2 units???
A:Call minn kota, they have very helpful people that have detailed knowledge of their products. But, I have a lowrance system, and yes I had to purchase an adapter but it was very easy to find at the boat shop.
