  • Terrova Trolling Motor's effortless by design features
  • Electric steer foot pedal
  • Digital Maximizerâ„¢ Technology
  • Universal Sonar 2
  • iPilotâ„¢ Record a Track
  • iPilotâ„¢ Spot-Lock
  • CoPilotâ„¢ and Cruise Control
  • Advanced CoPilot
All the great features of the Minn Kota® Terrova® Bow Mount  Trolling Motor with Universal Sonar 2 combined with a factory-installed Minn Kota® i-Pilotâ„¢ Wireless GPS Trolling System. The revolutionary i-Pilot uses GPS technology to store and retrieve locations and paths on the water. Its intuitive features—including CoPilotâ„¢ wireless functions—navigate and position your boat for you, improve your bait presentation, and let you focus on fishing.

Minn Kota® Terrova® Bow Mount Trolling Motors:
Master whatever Mother Nature—or a mother of a walleye—can throw at you! Minn Kota built Terrova with more power and uncompromising strength to stand up to anything you encounter. The easy-to-use handle and special fall-away ramps on the stow/deploy mechanism let you effortlessly move your motor in and out of the water.

Effortless by Design
Simply depress the handle and fall-away ramps deploy the motor into the water effortlessly. The balanced motor design makes stowing easy, and a special master cutoff switch automatically turns the power off when stowed.

Electric Steer Foot Pedal
Waterproof, low-profile foot pedal with 18' cord offers precise control with less than one degree of steering resolution.

Digital Maximizerâ„¢ Technology
Up to five times longer run time on a single charge. By controlling the draw of power at variable speeds, Digital Maximizer eliminates wasted energy, extends battery life, and gives you more time on the water!

Universal Sonar 2:
Dual-beam capability (with all Humminbird® DualBeam PLUSâ„¢ and select Lowrance® and Garmin® units) provides expanded coverage and greater bottom detail at 83 kHz and 200 kHz.  Temperature-sensing compatibility with all major sonar brands. Integrated, concealed transducer is protected from the elements.

iPilotâ„¢ features:
Record a Track:
Simply push the Record button and fish along your desired course. i-Pilot will store that track to memory—now up to six separate tracks. When you want to retrace a course, i-Pilot’s Playback functions will automatically guide your boat down the track.

Spot-Lock:
Works like an electronic anchor. Choose up to six separate spots to remember and at the push of a button it will hold you in place. Spot-Lock Recall lets you return to that spot later.

CoPilotâ„¢ and Cruise Control:
Select and maintain a consistent speed for optimum bait presentation with cruise control, and use the legendary speed and steering functions of CoPilotâ„¢ to precisely control your boat.

Advanced CoPilot:
Uses GPS to take you exactly to the point you select, not just the bearing you choose. It’s the difference between a compass and a GPS unit. Just point the motor in the direction you want to travel, push a button and let it take you there with GPS accuracy while compensating for wind, waves, current, and drift.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by All That's Advertised and More I recently purchased the Minn Kota Terrova US2 80. At first I bought the shorter shaft because I didn't think I would need a 5 ft shaft in front. Well after converting from 12 to 24 volt and putting an extra battery in the back it brought the back down and the bow up. Any wave action or chop and the motor would cavitate. I called Bass Pro right away and asked if I could return it for the 60 inch shaft. They said as long as it was within 30 days and I had the box no problem. So I made the 7 hour round trip back to Bass Pro to exchange the motor. It is now perfect. Just don't make the mistake I did and get the short shaft.Recently had a day off with 20mph winds and went fishing. I ended up trolling with planer boards into the wind and let the motor do the work. I could not have done it myself with my old trolling motor but it did just fine and I limited out on walleye . Even my wife was impressed at how well it worked. This is an expensive purchase but worth ever penny when set up right. This has made trolling for walleye after dark so much easier. The spot lock/anchor also works very well. Find a spot-hit the button-the boat stays there even in cross wind. I need to also compliment Bass Pro on their customer service. Great job! September 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Greatest thing ever invented --LOL-- This is a must have trolling motor. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. Easy install and easy operation. My favorite feature is the spot lock anchor . It held my 21 foot Triton on spot in 20 MPH winds and never missed a beat. Also only used 1/4 of the battery charge. I recommend this to anyone. Minn Kota Terrova is the best May 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by best money spent put one of these bad boys on my 2013 tracker and wow what a awesome tool , reminds me of those info commercials set it and for get it . now I can spend more time fishing and less time fighting with a peddle, I dont no why they get bad rap for delay in peddle if u decide to use peddle I got used to little bit if any delay in less then 5 mins. I can say theres noway I will ever own a boat without a terrova /ipilot on my boat again NO WAY !! April 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best MinnKota The best motor MinnKota has on the market for the price. I only wish it came with a ready to plug-in plug for my Tracker, or at least an option for different boats so you don't have to rewire after you buy the thing. April 6, 2013

The Lowrance Adapter MKR-US2-10 will work with the HDS-5 Gen 2 sku 1339528, however the structure scan does not work with the transducer on the Terrova.

It should work, since the transducer has the same frequency. I am not sure if there is a US2 cord for the elite 4x, but if the the US2 cord for the elite 5x fits the 4x it should work. There is no cord listed for the 4x.

This is more of a statement (FYI) then a question. So be careful what fish finder you purchase if you're intensions are to hook it up to the US2.

Response from Humminbird:

"No sir, the US2 is not compatible with the 597ci HD DI model.

The universal sonar would be compatible with the dual beam models, not the down image models."

A:
60" shaft. I have Triton TR-21x and I've used both the 54" and the 60" but the 60" gives you a little more depth when the chop gets going, so the prop stays engaged with the water. There's no price diff as far as I know, and you won't be sorry you have that extra depth.

Staff Answer
A:
You will want to measure your boat when it is fully loaded with gear and people for a regular day of fishing. Measure from intended mounting location (transom or bow) to the waterline of the loaded boat. Then add 18 inches. That's the shaft length you are looking for.

Adaptor Required??

Details:
Before I purchased my Minn Kota® PowerDrive™ V2 Bow-Mount Trolling Motor with Pre-Installed i-Pilot™ Wireless with Universal Sonar 2 and a HumminBird 596C HD Fish finder I checked with both Minn Kota and Humminbird and these units were compatible.
I purchased the units, on boxing day from Bass Pro Shop in Calgary, Alberta and have installed the Minn Kota onto the boat. When I went to hook up the sonar cable from the Minn Kota on to the Humminbird I find it is not a direct connect ....Question: is there an adapter that I need to purchase to connect the 2 units???
