I've had my Minn Kota Endura Max 55 now for a few months and several trips. I have to say that it is pretty easy on the battery. I run my jon boat for a couple of hours on one battery. The only negative I've seen has been some vibration at slower speeds.

Endura Max 55 Transom Mount exceeded my expectation. It does a fine job with my 20'ft Pontoon. It moves very quietly and with ease. It runs well in white caps with the 42 inch shaft.(a must). It is very quite and smooth and manuevers with ease. I ran 3 hours the first time out and the battery still had 84%. I had 12 gallon of fuel, 2 people and all our gear onboard with some headwind. I definetly recommend this trolling motor.

I was very disappointed with this motor.I bought the 40lb. thrust with a 36" shaft and put it on my 9' water scamp.It has no more power than my 30'lb. thrust motor with a 30" shaft.All I got was more weight to hassel with.I would return it or exchange it if I could.

I just purchased the Endura Max 50. I bought it to replace my Endura C 36 . This motor is great not only does it have infinite speed control but with the digital maximizer I'm getting four to five times longer run times on my deep cycle batteries. Great Motor!
