Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 30 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by just what the doctor ordered a must have for those of us who travel from state to state chasing fish and wanting to be sure we still have our 1k trolling motor on fishing day! solid construction, easy to use and works as advertised! what more to be said! April 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by decent product i am very pleased with the product however upon installing two of the four lock nuts seized before tight resulting in me having to cut the bolts off with a hack saw and get new ones. March 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best mount for Minn Kota Like the title says :) Easy to install, easy to remove motor when you have to, nice low profile when motor is off. I put an 80lb iPilot on it ... no problem, does no budge even when you floor it. December 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by a nice brackett this mount worked really well, however, I would like to see more adjustability fore and aft with this unit,Also if you have carpet where you mount this, you must shim under it so it is high enough to pull the u-pin to remove the motor October 2, 2012

Will this fit my boat?

Details:
I just bought a 2000 Wellcraft 16 fisherman and it had a RT55/SE on
it. Wanting the I Pilot I quickly learned this
wasn't just a head replacement. I had to buy the Whole thing new. Got a Riptide ST/55 w/ I pilot and planned to install. Now I found I dont have enough distance to clear the bow and was wondering 'for my boat will this bracket help me clear the front. Brian

I have attached the dimensions of the ST and the quick release plate you would have to measure and see if it fits. If you are still unsure you may have to contact the boat dealer to see how they normally install them. Thanks

When there is carpet, or a rise from the bow to the gunwale. Carpet does not allow you to push the piece, mounted to the motor, down far enough to lock it in place.
