This Unit was the obvious chioce to add a kicker motor to my boat. The only difficulty was finding the courage to drill mounting holes in the Transom. No moving parts to break. Bolt it on and hang your motor! Installation is that simple I now am able to use my boat on all the small horsepower limit lakes that were off limits with my 50 H.P. Outboard.

Concerned by a couple of reviews indicating this may be difficult to install. Good directions, easy install, very heavy duty. Great Buy!. Highly recommend. If you don't need an adjustable Jack, then this is the best value on the internet. Another great product from Bass Pro!

This turned out to be the exact item to improve the use of my fishing boat. It set the engine back and improved the draft that I could run in. It also improved my Speed with the engine higher out of the water.

Everyone knows that long shaft motors are a dime a dozen and that its the short shafts that are hard to find. This product will bring value back to the long shafts and allow short transom boaters to equip long shaft motors and get the same handling and performance as their short counterparts. I recently purchased the Mini-jacker and installed it on my 16' Grumman and mounted a 98 Mercury 25hp long shaft. It works amazing. Installation is a breeze if you have the right equipment....drill and some sort of fasteners. The design of the jack plate allows universal mounting for height preference. Well worth the money, and a lot easier than making your own or raising your transom.
