Providing the serious treasure hunter with both deep detection and deep precision discrimination, the Minelab Explorer SE Pro Metal Detector delivers great results regardless of ground conditions and target type. This high performance detector utilizes Minelab's Full Band Spectrum (FBS), the only technology in the world that provides both deep detection and deep precision discrimination, regardless of ground conditions and target type. Simultaneously transmitting 28 multiple frequencies from 1.5kHz to 100kHz, FBS technology continually transmits both deep penetrating lower frequencies and sensitive high frequencies for more sensitive and accurate target identification at greater depths. This technology also improves the Explorer SE Pro's ability to cancel ground mineralisation. Automatic ground balancing further maximises the depth, sensitivity and discrimination, whatever the field conditions. Comes equipped with a lightweight, perfectly balanced, waterproof ultra-tough 11" Double-D coil. Uses NiMH battery pack or 8 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Detector's faster and more powerful microprocessor uses third generation software for full function advanced programming and great features like dual coordinate target profiling and full ferrous Iron Mask discrimination. Quickstart mode provides an easy learning curve. The intuitive user interface features large, easy to read target coordinates and offers fine sensitivity, threshold and volume adjust controls.
Note: As a rule of thumb….any coil that you can see through is waterproof and can be submitted in the water. Any coils you cannot see through…solid plastic, can be washed off with water but not submerged underwater.

"As a company we do not give depth numbers because there are so many variables involved. What I can tell you is that if the customer does a little research he/she will find that no one in the industry goes deeper than Minelab."
