Rated 1 out of 5 by Worthless radio..dont cut a hole in your dash for I bought this because I liked the idea of having a round gauge size radio in my boat with limited space. Now I have a hole to fill because I can't find another radio to fit. Received the radio with a plug on the end that fit nothing in my boat. Being experienced with installing electronics I cut the end and soldered the labeled connections per the wiring diagram. Worked great for about 3 months then the volume controls quit working. Sent in under warranty and got a new radio with a note attached that I ruined it cutting the wires. Well I cut them with power off and one at a time so how can you say that? New radio was DOA. Had 12 volts on radio side of fuses but nothing would work. Again it had a plug that fit nothing on my boat so I soldered. Again received another radio from factory with a note that I ruined it due to cutting wires. This time they included the other end of the plug with the new radio so I had something to solder to without cutting the plug off. They also had a note that they would not replace this again under warranty. Radio worked great for about a month and last trip...guess what. Volume controls went out. This radio is total junk. Save your money and buy something else as I have had 3 out of 3 go bad within 3 months of installing each one June 18, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Should have bought something better Well, it looks great, worked great for 4 months and then the volume controls just quit. Guess I need to find something that lasts longer or something else that fits in the hole I put in my boat for it..... March 12, 2013

Number and type of jacks?

Details:
I read a review on another forum that this unit did not have ability to connect and MP3 device. Reviewer stated this unit only had "a USB port and to RCA jacks". Won't an MP3 connect to an RCA jack from the earphone jack on the MP3?
