Sent them back. It says 30 miles....hahaha they don't even go 1 miles. I guess is you are on flat ground with not hills, no bushes, no trees you might go a mile. I ordered 9 of them, received 18 of them and sent them all back.

These radios worked well over the mountains at a distance less then 5 miles. We did not try long range. But they did work as i expected.
