I purchased a pair of these Jungle Moc's about 6 or 7 years ago and have used them for work projects ever since. I wore them to work on my house, and other projects for family friends and neighbors. I wore them until they had no more tread left and looked like a pair of slippers. They craftsmanship is excellent. I've told a lot of people about the quality of Merrell's and buy them for all uses. Including every day tennis shoes, and the sandals.

I buy a new pair each year. I work in an industrial setting that requires a lot of climbing and walking. These shoes are comfortable and not slick on wet floors. I have just recently purchased my fourth pair.

I weigh 350lbs and these shoes hold up whether your hiking, working, or walking. Very comfortable with great support. I'm ordering another set now. I also bought a set of the redhead shoes, don't waste your money, they're half the price but 10% of the shoe these Merrell's are. I've had these for about 7 months as of 3/16/10.

I don't even like the style all that much. But comfort is what counts, so I tried on a pair just to check them out. Wow! These have become my favorite casual shoe for walking the neighborhood or around the house. The slightly 'grippy' soles make your step more secure and you feel lighter and more agile.
For the $, these would be hard to beat . I also have the Merrell 'river shoes' for fishing in warm or hot weather. They are perfect for being in the boats (kayak or jon boat) and dry fast!
