This versatile boot gives you the durability, breathability, waterproofing, and support to charge into outdoor adventures without any concerns about your footwear. The Merrell® Moab Mid GORE-TEX® XCR® Multi-Sports Shoes for Men feature GORE-TEX® XCR® gasket construction and a GORE-TEX® XCR® fabric lining to give you true waterproof protection. The lining also offers Aegis™ Antimicrobial technology to keep the boot clean and odor free. The Moab Mid GORE-TEX® XCR® Multi-Sports shoe starts with a waterproof Dura leather and breathable mesh upper with a breathable ventilated bellows tongue. A 4.5mm anatomical footbed sits atop a nylon injection molded arch shank, Merrell Air Cushion® midsole, and compression molded EVA footframe for top support and comfort through all your adventures. The business end of this boot is a tough Vibram® Multi-Sport™ rubber outsole with a deep 5mm lug depth tread. Rubber toe bumper and rubber heel counter add toughness. Average weight: 1 lb. 15 oz. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not so fast. left shoe fit like a glove out of the box and is still good today. Right never felt tight on ankle. Heel to mid foot kept bothering me and ached, Pulled insole out and it is paper thin especially on bottom of heel. Replaced it with a drugstore insole out of desperation and it felt a little better. Heel feel is better after three weeks of struggle and break in. I am looking for a replacement. Sorry but you asked. May 7, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Merrell Gore Tex Hiking Boot This turned out to be a very good boot. Immediately after getting the boot, I went for a 10 mile hike followed by a 3 day - 20 mile hike, with NO break in period. No blisters, no rub. Total comfort. The only thing I wish is that the Vibrum sole was just a little stiffer for better support when stepping on the tops of rocks. Great boot though. October 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth the money I have a hard time finding boots or shoes that fit and last, this is the second pair of this brand but different model. Right out of the box they fit my feet like a glove not to mention I was struck at how light they were. I have mainly worn them around the inside only going out a couple of times no complaints on them so far. I am so happy with them I don't want to get them dirty. Don't be afraid of the price you are getting the a product that is worth it. June 10, 2012
