I love Mepps spinners and this is a great spinner for musky. The spinner has a large blade to cause vibrations and flash and the skirt presents a large profile for big fish. This lure works great for muskies, pike, and largemouth bass.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by captain Great for Northern Pike also
I have been to Canada on several fishing trips for Northern Pike. Although these are listed as a Musky lure they are great for Pike also. I have always had great results with the #5 size with all colors. I have fished all day with a single lure and have caught several pike in the 35-40 inch size. They stand up great against a large hard biting fish. If anyone is going after big fish like Pike or Musky I will tell you that you will not dislike this product.

Pretty good bait overall. I fished with the Mepps Musky Killer for about three weeks, everyday, and caught two 30+ inch pike, a 42 inch musky, and two four pound, late-season bass. Decent inter-species lure, not great, but a decent buy.

Black with the red tail is wonderful. Also, I've had great success with Firetiger...don't know why because it doesn't look like anything that swims, but big bass and pike attack Firetiger.1 of 1
