This elastic urethane repair adhesive permanently seals seams, repairs tears and leaks, and patches holes on natural and synthetic fabrics, waterproof laminates, leather, neoprene, PVC, rubber, and vinyl. Use Seam Grip to repair surfaces or seal seams on tents, packs, sleeping pads, rainwear, waders, footwear, and more. Concentrated and waterproof, Seam Grip offers excellent adhesion, long lasting flexibility, and superior traction and abrasion resistance, with minimal shrinkage. Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME STUFF i purchased the sealer, along with tenacious tape to patch a rather large tear in a tent. this combination made it seal water tight, as it rain all day and night on our latest camping trip. we even sealed a few seams and towable tube with the sealer and tape, worked great! im going to keep a tube in my camp box from here on out! August 22, 2012

I have a Coleman Red Canyon tent 10' x 17' and would like to seal the seams on it. How much does this 1 oz. seam sealer seal or should I get several tubes?

i would say several tubes would be best, would hate to run out with more seams to seal. plus, i will always have a tube of this in my camp kit, so it worth it to have extra.

One tube will seal the seams on an average two person tent. If your tent is any bigger I would recommend buying an additional tube. I used one tube on my Black Diamond Eldorado 2 person tent.
