  • New motors with high-energy magnets
  • Efficient design reduces power consumption
  • Rugged construction
  • Soldered connectors
Reliability, efficiency, power, and convenience are the benefits of Pro-line bilge pumps. New motors with high-energy magnets increase speed, and their efficient design means less power draw. Rugged construction, tough impeller, heavy-duty 16-gauge wire leads, and soldered - not crimped - connectors. Plus a quick release that lets you remove the entire unit for easy debris removal. 4-3/8" high. 3/4" hose.
Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile Product This pump comes with two outlet fittings: one straight and one 90 degrees. You can adjust the angle of the 90 degree outlet which allows flexibility in routing the bilge pump outlet hose. The outlet sets higher than my old one which was a plus as it now clears a livewell drain hose. Easy to install and works perfect. December 31, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by a cheap pump if you need a pump that last 1 year, this is all you'll get.I've used these for 20years between Rule,Attwood or Mayfair. These are only 1 year pumps never more than a year out of each. June 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good workhorse I use these as bilge and livewell pumps. They are easily changed and cleaned. I am hard on equipment and I have been using this particular style pump for 20 years. October 28, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bilge Pump Replacement This was a easy replacement for me. The broken pump was a Mayfair and the mounting brackets are similar. All I had to do was take out the old and pop in the new. July 27, 2011

stops pumping water

Details:
I have the model 2270 and it pumps great for about 5 minutes then stops pumping water. The motor is still running. Any suggestions for correcting this or does there seem to be a problem with the pump itself.

A:
The pump may be losing prime from the sounds of this issue. Be sure that the bilge still has water in the area. If it does yet the pump is not pumping water, then the prime may be lost or the pump may be defective.

A:
No, it does not have a hose connection on the input side for this application. It would be damaged easily by sand/ gravel.

A:
No inlet hose connection. I can't see how you could use it for a dredge. The impeller turns really fast and I would think that any sand would damage it.
