I purchased this after my boat almost completely sunk to do the fact person I pay to watch boat at my slip failed to bilge the boat. Not sure if Mayfair is made by Johnson pump but that's what I received, a red Johnson pump which is identical to the Mayfair pump. Easy installation and works great

Had been working on the floor of my boat .Then it started to rain and rain the boat filed with woter. To get that much water out the drain plug just was going to take to long.So I put in a 1000 GPH May Marine Combo Blige Pump,it took about 2 Hr to get the water out this gave me time to dry out the floor.
