Not sure if Mayfair is made by Johnson pump but that's what I received, a red Johnson pump which is identical to the Mayfair pump. Easy installation and works great August 27, 2012

To get that much water out the drain plug just was going to take to long.So I put in a 1000 GPH May Marine Combo Blige Pump,it took about 2 Hr to get the water out this gave me time to dry out the floor. 1. When the bilge water rises and reaches the second detector cell at 50 mm (2”)
h starts the pump, with a 3 second delay.
2. When the water level has sunk to a level of 20 mm (¾"), and the first detector cell is above the water level, the pump is stopped.
