I have been trying to find a really good fishing line for the last 3 or 4 years. I have tried everything you could think of except for this line. I had never seen it because my local Cincinnati BPS doesnt carry it. I saw it at another BPS store and bought a spool. Here is the low down: Its not cheap but so far its easily the best line I have evered used. It casts great, plenty of sensitivity, great knot strength and abrasion resistance mixed with low stretch even if the line is wet and has been used for hours without a chance to dry out. I have used this line on Lake Erie, the Maumee River for the famous walleye run, and countless streams for trout and smallmouth bass in Ohio, KY, IN, and WV. I have hooked giant carp, drum, catfish, even pike and have yet to ever have my line break or cut off from a fish. In fact, this line is so tough that when I have been snagged the line doesnt break it just straightens my hook. The only time I can recall my line breaking is when I got snagged in a tree from a lousy cast I made and I couldnt reach my lure so I had to cut my line.
As for the color, I dont have any proof of it, but it seems like in clear water or high pressure fishing areas that it works better than regular line. I have outfished my buddies quite a bit. The line seems to "disappear" because its such a natural color.
Needless to say this is the first time I have bought the same fishing line for another season in a looong time. I also bought some 6 pound test for tippet material for my fly rod. I will have to see how that works out.

It's not cheap but for strength and castability it cannot be beat. I fish for trout using 4 lb. line and I am constantly amazed by this line's strength while maintaining iit's flexibility and distance in casting.

I switched to this line for my trout reels, and my bites have gotten better. Easy to tie, and doesn't seem to twist up as bad as some of the others I've tried.
