This is my second pair, if you love the outside the water these are the best glasses. Maui Jim makes the best sunglasses I have ever purchased. The glasses are not cheap but well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very sturdy and very crisp shades
The Kahuna Sunglass is a heavy frame, but that's because it's built to withstand. However, if you are not used to such heavy sunglasses you will find yourself with a headache in no time.
Being that as it may, the lenses are awesome and crisp. Using these in the Florida sunshine has been awesome. They are very comfortable to the eyes and do an awesome job of protecting. This particular frame is slightly wrapped around to help get more of the light coming in from the sides, which is a bonus.
The nose pieces are adjustable which help when it comes to bigger nose bridges. When thinking of the nose pieces, think eyeglass nose pieces.
They also have stainless steel spring hinges so saltwater won't effect them in the short term. It'll take at least 3 years or so before they start to rust up.
They are glass lenses, so the scratch resistance is some of the best out there. Watch out how you drop them though, they could crack or...even worse...shatter.
Maui Jim does have a warranty that will replace damaged lenses or frames, however it will be for about half the cost of what you payed for the sunglasses brand new. Unless it's their defect, then it will be for free.

Best Glasses Ever!
If you haven't tried a pair of Muai Jim's you are missing out on THE best pair of sunglasses you will ever own. The optics/glass is the clearest I have ever seen. I would highly recommend these glasses to anyone!

Best Polarized Sunglasses
I bought my second pair of these glasses at Bass Pro and they really are great. The polarized lenses cut through glare and the larger temples which grip well, make them hold on through anything. They sit on your head well too due to the expanded size temples. They also grip when raised up onto the top of your head, if you like to wear them like that, like I do, while reading or adjusting something, or while walking around inside. I can highly recommend Maui Jim sunglasses and this style especially. Bass Pro has a competitive price and a good selection to choose from. I also really prefer glass lenses to plastic lenses. Plastic lenses tend to scratch easily and often have lesser optical clarity. These sunglasses have glass lenses.
