Thermostat temperature controls ensure even cooking temperatures up to 275°F. Smoker includes a wireless remote that controls temperature, time, internal light, ON/OFF, and monitors meat temperature from up to 100' away. Meat probe thermometer works with the remote, allowing you to stay inside while monitoring and adjusting the smoker outside! 800 watt element. 30" smoker has four racks and also comes with wheels, handle, and a removable drip pan. Overall, really like the smoker. The only downside I've found so far is that many of the screw/bolt holes don't line up in fact, one of the screw holes for mounting the filler strip behind the front legs was never drilled. Also, the skirt screw were too short and and such the skirts are not very secure.

I was at Bass Pro to pickup their Black Friday special ... 30" Masterbuilt with free stand for $199.99.
doors opened at 5:00 a.m. and I was on my way home by 5:30.
I absolutely love this smoker. Assembly of smoker was easy and the stand is a must for anyone with lower back problems. I did the seasoning process early Saturday morning and by noon, I had it loaded with a slab of ribs, chicken breasts and a tri-tip roast and foil wrapped potatoes. As it didn't come with any cooking instructions, I searched the internet to get the basic guidelines.
The finished meats were so good. I open smoked meat for 3 hours on 225 and then wrapped in foil for 2 more hours. All was falling apart tender. For a beginner, I was extremely pleased with the results.

Bought this Smoker in January. Have used it 10+ times. Tried several different woods, heat seating and fluids. Could never get it to smoke right. Was more of an outdoor oven than anything. If you like smoke flavored meat, use a wood smoker you have to light. these electric smokers do not put off very much smoke. Ill stick to my Oklahoma Joe smoker.

I bought this model about 3 weeks ago. So far I have done ribs, sausage, cheese, and a pork butt (15 hour smoke) All together I have used it for about 24 hours and no problems yet. The glass is awesome! I am really glad I got it, you can see your meat and how much smoke is going, clean the glass with Easy Off..it literally wipes clean. Another reviewer had problems cleaning the glass but I clean it after every use with easy off and after 24 hours of use it is still brand new. The only small problem is the chip tray can be a little difficult to put in sometimes. The meat thermo is also waaay off so make sure you use another one. Overall I am really glad I bought this model!
